Isabel graduated with a bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Florida. Empathy and a desire to help people led her to choose this major. Her life experiences taught her the importance of mental health to achieve one's goals. Isabel is focused on making a positive impact in her community by improving the mental health of others. Her work in the MELD lab has allowed her to discover more about hoarding disorder. Through the use of linguistics, Isabel is learning about how this mental health condition can potentially be diagnosed, prevented, and managed.
