Jude is a first-year MA student of Linguistics with an undergraduate background in Linguistics and English. Their primary research investigates accounts of predictive processing in terms of modulatory factors, including attentional and task demands. They are also interested in examining the psycholinguistic profile of morphosyntactic features of AAE and Southern United States English (e.g., null copula, person-number disagreement, double modals). In their free time, Jude collects records, reads postmodern fiction, and enjoys learning about the sociolinguistics of Hip Hop.
